Quite buggy right now. I always use select-to-speak with an English UK voice. But more often than not, my phone would read back to me the contents in an American voice, which I don't prefer. It's been like this for a number of weeks, where as before everything would be read in my preferred voice. I don't know if the problem is with this program or the Google text-to-speech engine. Confounding.

This review is only for the recent update. After the update, it switches between languages read. I installed Cantonese (Hong Kong) voice data, but it read Mandarin on different web pages, like Wikipedia. It was all fine before the recent update. But now, it can't directly read Facebook posts, it speaks Mandarin when the installed voice data is Cantonese (Hong Kong). Google! Please fix this! Just give me back what I had prior to this recent update!

The TalkBack app is completely broken and is a stupid function. I don't understand how this is suppose to help anyone. It practically shuts down all functions on the phone once enabled. The fact that it has a permanent shortcut enabled is absolutely idiotic. Thank God after trying everyway of pushing buttons I got it turned off. The designer of this app is a terrible human being and should feel bad for being such a failure.
